If you have never owned/bought a suit, tighter is better.
I am a little over six feet tall and weigh 175 lbs and get in a Eagle medium off the rack. I could probable get in a small tall if I tried hard enough and was willing to drop 10 lbs.
Tight will perform better and you will feel much more secure when all your parts are held in place.

To tell somebody how to hop is like telling hem how to pick their nose.. Everybody knows how to hop.. My advice is start out trying to hop over a sheet of paper.. Dont go big.. Do that 20 times.. Just get the feel of the upweight and recovery.. Get confident.. It works the same on the water as it does on land..You have to figure out how to get confident.. Move up to 2 sheets of paper, then 3, then jump over Cat in the Hat then the phone book..

I will pick up the prop you mentioned. I was thinking that I might keep a couple of different props on hand for different applications. To be honest, part of the reason I bought the Sanger was to be able to get up and get somewhere a heck of a lot quicker than I can in the Nautique.

Pics are coming in the next few days!!

Best,

Greg

High 5 in a 19" pitch. It will make the table very smooth. They only thing that you have to watch is that if you trim the motor up with that prop you would overrev it. With it trimmed down this is not a problem with my boat.

7. Yes the large tank in the back feeds the small tank on the top of the motor. It is a pressurized system so if the caps are not on tight is will not work properly. If the small tank on the motor gets low on oil an alarm should go off. DO NOT IGNORE THIS ALARM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY A NEW MOTOR! You will get as many opinions about oil as there are people that have outboards. I use any good quality two-cycle outboard oil that is rated for a Mercury outboard. I usually use West Marines in store brand but I have used Mercury oil as well as Penzoil. One thing to watch out for on these motors is the gear on the crankshaft that operates the oil injection pump sometimes goes out. Mine did when there was about 500 hours on the motor the only way to fix it is to completly tear down the motor. I decided that it was not worth tearing it apart when everything else was fine so I just had the oil injection pumped removed and I pre-mix now.

I have been very pleased with how little I have had to do in order to maintain my motor. It is way less then what I had to do with my inboard. There are no more oil changes and really the only thing you need to do is change the impeller and the foot oil. I put about 125 hours a year on my boat and I change the impeller once a year just to be safe and the foot oil about every other year.

When you get a chance post a picture of the new boat.

Paul
