Gentlemen (and Ladies), Start your engines…

3-event is over and Endurance and Figure-8 is getting into full swing.  It’s now time for the fall season of head-to-head endurance racing.  Up to five races are on tap, each with different challenges and multiple levels of competition.

Mississippi Endurance Race, Sept 22nd, St Charles / St Louis, Mo

  • Hosted by MVS Barefoot Club.
  • A great race covering 35-40 miles on the Mississippi River providing a variety of challenges from barges, ferries, currents, and dynamic weather.

Music City River Run, Oct 6th, Nashville, Tn

  • Hosted by Jason Lee of Team SkiPro.
  • A unique two-in-one format:  Prelims & Finals on the same day right through downtown Nashville.  Race in the morning, tour & party in the evening.

TBD, Oct 20th

  • Due to a late arising conflict.  A re-planned on venue is being worked.  Location is likely to be in Texas.  Leave the date open & stay tuned for more details.

Dam-to-Dam, Nov 3rd & 4th, Austin, Tx

  • Hosted by Austin Barefoot Club
  • The 20th anniversary of the grand-daddy of barefoot endurance racing.  Don’t miss the biggest race of the year.  20+ teams expected to compete.

Lake Hamilton Season Finale, Dec 1st, Lake Hamilton, Fl

  • Event is subject to change based on weather the remainder of the summer.  Lake Hamilton is well below normal levels.  Alternate sights and hosts are under investigation.

All events have a pro-open division and an “all-comers” division intended for anyone with bare feet and a desire to have fun to come and participate.

No team, no worries.

  • If you’re looking for a pro-open level competition, post your name on the Alternates list to be seen and considered by the pro-open teams when they need alternate footers.  Want your own team, contact other Alternates and organize a new team.  It’s also not necessary to be entered in the Tour season points race to enter pro-open division events.
  • Just want to see what all the excitement is about and get involved in your first event?  Show up at the pre-race party on Friday night before the race and get on an All-Comers team.  Race organizers will be working with individuals and teams to get everyone that wants to foot a ride.
