Is there even such a thing?
It has come up in many discussions with my barefoot buddies, but can one 'officially'. Could we host it as a 'Fun' class tournament?
Do non-US countries host show-ski tournaments? |

It should be possible to put on a shoe ski tournament that is sanctioned by the USAWS through the ABC and just call it an experimental format and make the exception to the rule that require barefeet... You would be conforming to all of the other ABC rules so why not?????

In Canada we run a shoe ski jump division in most tournaments to get skiers used to the format of the event and promote more skiers learning to jump. No medals in that event yet, but lots of skiers, and the scores obviously don't for rankings but no one seems to care.
