Looking at the Outboard Sanger in the background, is it blue or black? It looks very similar to the one I bought from CA this past spring.

Mine is just the opposite, blue main, black with a red pinstripe. I met Joe at the 1996 Worlds in MN and pulled him slalom behind my Warrior for practice. I think he was a little in shock at the wake but you didn't notice it in his skiing! He's a very nice guy.

thats joe drivingSmile

nice of you to say nice things about him, that is the impression he normally leaves.
it was alot of fun skiing with joe and he has alot to do with my addiction to barefooting.
he has become too injured and broken to barefoot and last time he tried his wife skiied better...she foots longline(2 kids)
joe loves that outboard sanger (and with the hydraulic power steering it is awesome)

Anybody got any more pics?

Winter skiing!
This top encloses the entire cab area of the boat, it has a curtain that drops down in the back and with the heatercraft 4 port heater, 28 degree days aren't realy that cold. The biggest concern is not to let the boat freeze the way out to the ramp.
The top is entirely tower mounted with removable/adjustable tower clamps and all windows will zip off which will turn the top into a sun bimini in the summer.

Joe,

Is that Disco Bay on the Delta I'm seeing in the background? Love that place!

Here's another idea for a post....post pictures of your ski site. Who's going to get it started?

i can answer some of that
no, its not disco
its way north...ill let joe tell you where
and joe, that looks like a nice little warm dry coccoon, and with the 4 burner on high it must get nice and toasty...we could use that down here on the delta...but it is not often 28!!!!that would crack a lot of blocks out at disco bay

start that ski site thread!

The picture was actually taken in Longview, WA. Not the Delta.

We need to be very careful not to let the blocks crack. I have a space heater under the boat cover, and a light bulb in the engine compartment. It stays warm when being stored. When we have it out on the water with that 4 port heater it is awesome!

I've started the Ski Site thread!

Does anyone know where this boat is? This was my first 98 Flighty.  I busted it up in a car crash and it was sold by insurance to someone in Oklahoma.

She is beautiful!
Does the bimini walk/wobble on you at high speeds?
With my top (near the top of the page), I ended up replacing one of the nylon tie downs with solid tubing in order to make it more stable as the nylon straps were loosening and vibrating way too much at fast speeds.
I like the stainless additions on the interior.

a little trick on the bimini is to give the strap one twist, it greatly reduces them vibrating. you guys have higher biminis and longer straps so i am not sure if it will work when they are that long, but try twisting the straps.

I love the colors...you can't go wrong black and white are never out of style, the new "BAREFOOTER" graphics are bigger and look really good, nice trailer wheels....so was your experience different from sledheads?...was your boat full of shavings and rigging debris? and other nasty surprises? did you use a dealer? or take delivery yourself?

Thanks. To prevent the straps from vibrating, you just have to turn them 180 degrees (half turn).
